WHAT IS HEAVEN?
 IT’S A PHYSICAL PLACE NOT A STATE OF BEING
"There are many rooms in my Father's home and I'm going to prepare a place for
you! I wouldn't tell you this if it wasn't true. And when your place is ready I'll come
back to get you, so that you'll always be with me and live where I live." John 14:2-3
 IT’S A PERMANENT PLACE THAT’LL LAST FOREVER
“It will be a home in heaven that will last forever.” 2 Corinthians 5:1
 IT’S A RESERVED PLACE FOR ONLY GOD’S FAMILY
"Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be able to
enter” Revelation 21:27

HOW IS HEAVEN DIFFERENT?

“No eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard, and no mind has ever even imagined
what God has prepared for those who love him!” 1 Corinthians 2:9

What is NOT in heaven
WHAT WILL WE DO IN HEAVEN?
1. WE WILL BE REUNITED WITH THOSE WHO LOVE JESUS
“...There will be one huge family reunion with the Master.” 1 Thessalonians 4:17 (MSG)
2. WE WILL BE REWARDED FOR OUR FAITH, HOPE & LOVE
“...know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward for serving
Christ.” Colossians 3:24

3. WE WILL BE ASSIGNED WORK THAT WE ENJOY DOING

“Well done, good and faithful servant! You’ve been faithful with a few things; I will now
put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!” Matthew
