Q: I get paid monthly. Can I AUTOMATE so that my gift comes out when I get paid?
Absolutely. You can set up your gift at any frequency you desire.
Q: What if I want to change my online giving or stop it?
You can edit or delete a scheduled contribution at anytime including the bank raouting number, account number, date, fund, frequency and amount. From your CCB homepage, click the GO TO MY PROFILE link at the top right, then select the FINANCIAL tab.
Q: I want to give to the Cannonball fund AND to the general fund. Is that possible?
YES! You have to set up separate recurring gifts for each fund you want to give to, so if you want to give weekly to the general fund and monthly to the building fund set up two transactions with different frequencies.
Q: When I get my email reciept it says it's from "e-give". What is e-give?
E-give is a merchant account agent that processes electronic transactions and also works with Churches. All companies that process debit/credit cards and ACH transactions use a 3rd party company to handle the transaction. Also, you will see the http"s" on your browser which means all encryptions and data is secure.
Q: Will my contributions be reflected on my annual giving statement?
Every contribution you make to Lake Hills will be reflected on your giving statement. You can review your online giving records at anytime by clicking the GO TO MY PROFILE link at the top right of your home page, then select the FINANCIAL tab.
Q. If we want to help people get out of debt, why does Lake Hills accept credit card donations?
Used within the parameters, debit and credit cards can be an efficient tool for payments and purchases. Many people utilize them in place of checks or cash throughout the month, and then pay off the balance in full. For these people, we offer the option of using a debit or credit card to give. We strongly discourage those who have ongoing credit card debt from exercising this option.
